THE  LATEST  NEWS  FROM  GRASSMERE...
GRASSMERE PASSES AAHA INSPECTION

On August 28th, we passed a rigorous inspection by the premier national animal hospital association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and were awarded another 3 year's accreditation.

This is a VOLUNTARY membership and, in order to qualify, a member hospital is examined for everything from housekeeping, to record keeping, to medical procedures and equipment.

We are very proud to be one of only 8 Nashville-area AAHA hospitals!

SATURDAY OFFICE HOURS

Our office hours on Saturday's are from 8 AM to 12 noon, and you don't need an appointment to see a doctor on Saturday morning!

OUR DOCTORS KEEP UP ON THE LATEST!

Dr Clark attended the annual Western States Veterinary Conference this February, and came home with plenty of new information!  This is one of the largest national veterinary meetings in the US.

Dr. Lambeth attended the Music City Conference sponsored by our own TVMA.  This years speakers provided a well rounded selection of topics, and the meeting is always the largest veterinary meeting held in Tennessee!

Dr. Brumbelow traveled to the northwest to attend the continuing education offered by the ACVIM - the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in June.  The meeting was held in Seattle.   A wide variety of topics are covered in depth!

Dr. Macherey visited Washington DC for the annual AVMA meeting July 14-18.  The AVMA is the national veterinary organization and its annual meeting is full of great seminars, labs, plus their exhibit hall.

Tennessee requires every veterinarian to attend a minimum of 20 hours of continuing lectures every year.  We are proud that our staff consistently exceeds that requirement.
